About the Course
Enabling your MHFAiders® to refresh their skills, the same way your physical first aiders do, is a great way to demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to treating mental health and physical health equally.
Once your Mental Health First Aiders have completed their MHFA Refresher course, they will be certified for three years and will be invited to become or stay a member of our Association of Mental Health First Aiders – making sure they have everything they need to feel confident when supporting others.
Investing in the MHFA Refresher course will keep your MHFAiders motivated, empowered, and confident to carry out their roles, and give you the peace of mind that they can perform their duties effectively.
The four-hour MHFA Refresher course will support your Mental Health First Aiders by:
Renewing their skills
Updating their knowledge of mental health support
Giving them the chance to practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan
Join us at the beautiful Art4Space studio and support their community intiatives by completing the course with us.
Your hosts at Art4Space will also provide light refreshments and take us through a mindful creative activity to start the day.
By training with It's a Playground, you'll also get access to free monthly/ bi-monthly workshops through our IAP Wellbeing Calendar of events, covering topics such as Psychological Safety, Neurodiversity at Work, Power of Play, Overcoming Imposter Thoughts etc.
